The SSRC has noticed a reduction in paper towel use since implementing the campaign
The Surplus Store & Recycling Center (SSRC) at Michigan State University (MSU) recently completed a pilot run of Circuit Media Green’s Shake It, Don’t Waste It paper towel reduction campaign. The campaign focuses on reducing waste by encouraging the use of a single paper towel after washing your hands.
Circuit Media reached out to the MSU SSRC to promote the campaign on MSU’s campus. The SSRC Outreach Coordinator, Kyle Cameron, implemented the campaign.
Since mid-November, the center has seen a 14% reduction in paper towel use in the facility’s bathrooms and employee break areas. This equates to one pound less of paper towel waste per week!
Last April, Circuit Media Green launched the Shake It, Don’t Waste It paper towel campaign as a way to promote green practices in the community. We are thrilled the learn about the positive impact this campaign has had on the MSU community!
If you’re interested in implementing our Shake It, Don’t Waste It campaign in your company or organization, reach out to us at [email protected] or give us a call at (303) 292-1212. We would love to chat about how we can help with your community’s conservation practices!
