Pierre Gaucher joined the Circuit Media team as a human resources intern on September 12. As part of our HR team, he is the point of contact for training and development and assists with recruiting and onboarding CM employees, staffing contracts, and internal administration.
Originally from California, Pierre is currently working toward his master’s in industrial organizational psychology at the University of New Haven. After getting a bachelor’s degree in psychology, he decided that clinical psychology wasn’t a path he was interested in. He pivoted to HR as a more direct way to help others on a daily basis and make a difference in others’ lives.
Pierre is excited to manage our performance management plan, which he’s learned a lot about since starting. This includes our company goals, future growth, internal evaluations, and CM’s individual development plans. He finds supporting everyone’s professional growth is particularly rewarding.
In his free time, Pierre makes it out to the beach every chance he has to surf, which he’s done since he was a kid. An outdoorsy person, he loves to hike and stay active. He’s also looking forward to singing Christmas carols with his dog Mucho soon back in California.
