Nadia Barnett joined the Circuit Media team as a communications specialist on October 17. On our team, she’ll be developing proposals with our business development team, serving as an internal social media manager as a part of the social team and working as a technical writing expert on our communications and creative services teams.
Based out of Silver Spring, Maryland, Nadia has broad experience as a technical writer and editor for both nonprofit and commercial clients. She received a dual bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and criminal justice and criminology from the University of Maryland. In her various roles, Nadia developed copy for different publications, managed social media accounts, worked as a copyeditor, and coordinated virtual events.
Nadia is excited to have an opportunity to work closely with subject matter experts at CM, while expanding her skills in digital marketing and plain language writing. She is eager to apply her technical writing, content development and other skills to a variety of ongoing and upcoming Circuit Media projects. She appreciates Circuit Media’s values of embracing curiosity and accessibility.
In Nadia’s free time, she enjoys crocheting, creative writing, and fostering cats. She loves taking a dance break or going on little walks as brain breaks while she works remotely.
