Marcus Shorter joined the Circuit Media team as the new Managing Editor of Law Week Colorado on June 1. He’ll lead our editorial team in creating content and reporting legal news on the newly relaunched Law Week website. He’ll also take on editing and technical writing projects for CM.
Based out of Washington, D.C, Marcus was a contractor with CM serving at the Department of Justice. He used his keen editorial eye on technical writing and editing services for our team and the DOJ. Before his role at the DOJ, Marcus was a web content analyst for the Department of Homeland Security.
Marcus is thrilled to be joining the team during Law Week’s transition to a new digital-only model. He’s inspired by the potential of multimedia in digital spaces. Marcus hopes to return Law Week to podcast, video, and article series formats.
In his free time, Marcus collects vinyl records and sneakers, and is a big fan of Spiderman. A music lover, he still makes time to write about music and pop culture for several publications.
