Ellie Yatsko joined CM on Jan. 4 and started working with the company’s Accessibility Team. While she’s serving as an accessibility intern, Ellie will also assist with contract and RFP responses in addition to some plain language efforts.
Ellie said she’s most excited to learn about the government contracting space. She said her main exposure to accessibility work so far was during her time at the Boulder Philharmonic Orchestra. Ellie helped work on a proposal to increase diversity in all aspects of the philharmonic, worked to help create more racial parity in music and directed a project to bring classical music performance to non-profit, affordable youth housing in residential Boulder.
Ellie’s background includes a legal internship at Evans Guthrie, and facilitating the firm’s content getting published in a national pre-law journal regarding policy issues and current events.
She graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in International Affairs and French.
In her spare time, Ellie is a plant and fitness lover and enjoys cooking and embroidery.
