Circuit Media had an excellent time participating in this year’s Nonprofit Ad Hack put on by Ad Club Colorado. We always appreciate the opportunity to interact with organizations in our community and “make stuff that matters.”

The Ad Hack is an annual event where local agencies and freelancers team up with local nonprofits to help develop their advertising and communications efforts. The results can vary from campaigns and marketing strategies to a single logo and are tailored to each nonprofit’s specific needs.

Circuit Media’s team was divided into two groups based on each individual’s skill type, allowing us to collaborate with creatives from other agencies. Each group was paired with one of two nonprofits. The groups met directly with the nonprofits to review goals and expectations for the Hack, any initial ideas and previous efforts, and creative briefs. We then brainstormed ideas, presented them to the nonprofit, and from there, developed the chosen ideas into take-away decks for the nonprofits to keep. We helped to create a social media calendar, provided recommendations for the nonprofit’s website and online communications, and created brand messaging and targeted social media strategy to improve outreach and volunteer participation.

Overall, the Circuit Media team thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can’t wait to participate next year!
