Avery joined the editorial team this week and is jumping straight into reporting for Law Week Colorado. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass media studies from Fort Lewis College and brings varied experience with multimedia. Avery has experience reporting for several local publications and has also served on marketing teams and as a 911 dispatcher.
In his spare time, Avery enjoys riding motorcycles, reading and writing. He is also a proud member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists. A native Salidan, Avery strayed into the metro area by setting down some roots in South Westminster.
