Challenge:

One of our government agency clients struggled with hiring
and retaining contractors and federal personnel. This
impacted employee morale, work quality, and productivity.

Solution:

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the national employee turnover rate in 2021 was 57.3%. To prevent a similar turnover rate, Circuit Media collaborated with the agency to determine workforce pain points. We then researched, prototyped, and implemented a workforce assessment tool with an initial focus on increased contractor retention. This tool assessed each contractor’s communication styles, individual strengths, and challenges. It even offered insight into managing remote work environments.

Result:

The use of the assessment tool and its recommendations resulted in 95% contractor employee retention, an increase in employee morale, and improved productivity. In addition, the agency drew from this well-trained contractor pool to fill other open federal positions.
