Clara Geoghegan joined the CM Team as a Legal Journalism Intern on May 3rd. Clara will write articles and help update the events calendar for our in-house legal publication, Law Week Colorado.
Clara is entering her new role with extensive reporting experience. She covered the ever-changing legal landscape of Cannabis during her internship at Westword. Clara brings this expertise to Law Week as it continues to cover hemp regulations. She also worked as a freelancer for Denverite, reporting on community events.
Originally from North Denver, Clara graduated last year from CU Boulder with a major in Anthropology and a concentration in Public Health. She’s fluent in French and speaks some Spanish. Clara said she’s most excited to broaden her journalism experience with new and interesting topics at Law Week.
In her spare time, Clara enjoys sewing costumes at home, cooking delicious meals, and spending time with her cat, Slim Cooley.
